Status Update - in South of Bothnian Sea

On Friday afternoon we sailed in to Öregrund guest marina and it means that we are now on southern side of Bothnia Sea. It was a tough week and I will have a lot to post about it, the sailing itself and the night locations.

In this post I will give a short overview on the legs of our sailing from Härnösand to Öregrund. And some evening pics in Öregrund.

Day 1: Härnösand - Mellanfjärd. About 50 nm. Motoring in waves. Running away rain.
Day 2: Mellanfjärd - Storjungfru. About 50 nm. Sailing in heavy waves, back wind. Radaring clouds.
Day 3: Storjungfru - Idön. About 20 nm. Pleasant evening sailing in back/side wind.
Day 4:  Idön - Öregrund. Massive sailing. Exter plowing the waves, sidewind 7-10 m/s. Average speed 7 knots. Gävle bukten crossed in 4 hours ;-)
Day 5: Öregrund. The crew, exhausted and recovering. Me, full of energy and active, a lot of activity.

I love marinas full of action...

Yes, there is a ship on land. Or was it the exhaustion...?

The moon over Öregrund.
