PS I am sitting here on my favorite furniture. 

I enjoy its texture as you can see in the left hand side lower corner in the pics ;-)

Winter in Kemi Marina

Wintery views in Kemi impressed the crew as much as the Summer ones. 

The snow castle has taken over the strand boulevard. The boats hibernate in their marinas.

Tailwind

Who says that life on land is boring? 

Not at all.

One can f.e. set himself comfortably on a crew activity box 

and create some wind with a tail.

Tracks on the Snow

 ... that is my tracks. Last winter I did not feel like entering on the white cool thing but this year I am mature and confident enough to join to the long chain of my sno-going ancestors.

(The first mate believes that I am related to the snow leopards. I let her maintain the illusion since the exotic idea makes her very happy...)

Rather boring task...

Oh no, there is the first mate. She is always questioning the needs and requires
investment proposals with further explanations. How can I help the poor captain who
just does his duty to maintain the vessel safety?

No problem, I used my regular trick on the first mate: She cannot resist my golden luxurious stomach hair.
I just expose the hair and she will be agreeable with my investment proposals ;-)

Helpin the Captain - Route Planning

One of the regular tasks at sea is the route planning. Both paper charts and electronic navigation is used. It is the captain's responsibility. Fortunately he is not alone with all those decisions as the first mate instructs him where the vessel shall sail and I help with the big picture, on the paper chart, literally. 

As a chief of the vessel I oversee the route planning. Looking good so far...

Far from the real thing - Longing for the Summer

It's February now. There are still two whole months before May, the month when Exter will be launched. We look forward the weekend visits to Tankar and miss the Sea.
